My Approach To Helping

That you are reading this now, and - hopefully - planning to contact me,  is proof that you are looking for a mental health professional to deal with one or more psychological problems or complaints that are currently confronting you.  If so, look no more!  I can help you. I am a state licensed mental health practitioner who has helped others like you. I can help you if the help you seek, for example, is concerned with irritating thoughts, feelings, or behaviors that interfere with normal daily functioning. I can also help, if you are looking for assistance with sexual issues, pre-marital counseling, or help to re-kindle, or end broken relationships,  update parenting styles, or deal with teenage, career, education, and school related issues.

I am committed to the helping profession and passionate about using the benefits of my education, training, skills, and expertise in promoting psychological wellness in our world! And, because I am generally working in these areas of specialization, I am often quick to effectively assess each case - or cases – that clients may have, and - more importantly - work with them at every level to achieve the goals that they rightly deserve.

The psychological healing techniques that I use to treat psychological disorders, problems, or complaints, are at times specific. At other times, because of the nature and extent of the presenting problems, the healing techniques are combined, or integrated. Whatever the technique, however, I make an all out effort to collaborate with my clients by ensuring that we have a common understanding of the nature of the disorder, problem, or complaint that they may have – including, of course, how best to resolve the given disorder, problem, or complaint.  When a case is specific, I generally resolve it in short term psychotherapy. This is not to suggest that I shy away from difficult cases. I am quite comfortable with the challenges of a complex case that often requires in-depth analysis before the diagnosis. Even if that takes a longer time, and involves long term psychotherapy, what matters to me most is the overall outcome that meets my client’s expectations.
